حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ وَالأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُقَبِّلُ وَيُبَاشِرُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ وَكَانَ أَمْلَكَكُمْ لإِرْبِهِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَأَبُو مَيْسَرَةَ اسْمُهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُرَحْبِيلَ. وَمَعْنَى لإِرْبِهِ لِنَفْسِهِ.
Āishah said, "The messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to kiss and fondle his wives while fasting, and he was the most capable among men of controlling his desire."(1) Footnotes: 1) This means that the physical contact did not lead to anything that breaks the fast. Umm-Hāni' said, "I was sitting with the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, when a drink was brought to him. He drank from it then passed it to me and I drank. I then said, 'I have committed a sin, would you seek [God’s] forgiveness for me?'" "What have you done?" asked the Prophet. I replied, "I was fasting then ended my fast (i.e. before sunset)." He asked, "Were you fulfilling a compensatory fast? (1)" "No." I said. "Then, there is no harm done." said the Prophet. حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِى بِشْرٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَن ِ الْحِمْيَرِىِّ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ صِيَامِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.
